Gambling Twitch streamers
The standard story is that gambling content left Twitch in 2022. The data says otherwise: 139.1M hours of casino, slots and poker content were watched on Twitch in January–June 2026, and the categories grew 47% year on year — a faster rate than Kick's.
What changed is the product mix. Twitch's October 2022 policy bars slots, roulette and dice sites without a US-comparable licence; it does not bar sports betting, poker or licensed and social-casino products. The result is three distinct categories with different audiences, and a Portuguese-language Virtual Casino scene that most English-language coverage of "the Twitch gambling ban" never mentions.
Three categories, three audiences
Slots
The main category. English-language, personality-driven, led by MitchJones at 5.14M hours. Highest concurrency of the three.
Virtual Casino
Social and virtual-currency casino products, overwhelmingly Portuguese-language. Very long broadcasts at low concurrency — volume over spectacle.
Poker
Untouched by the 2022 policy. Tournament and cash-game coverage, led by long-running pro channels such as LexVeldhuis at 1.12M hours.

Which gambling Twitch influencers are worth approaching
On Twitch the first filter is not reach, it is your licence. A channel playing a product that fails Twitch's licensing test is a policy risk you inherit — so the shortlist starts by matching channels to what you are licensed to promote, then ranks what is left on delivered attention.
After that, the useful questions are the same as anywhere: is the concurrency stable enough to forecast, does chat engagement match the viewer count, how much of the channel is casino content, and which competitors are already on it. A Twitch slots streamer with a colder, broader audience can outperform a bigger Kick channel whose viewers have seen four operators the same week.
Why Twitch still matters to an operator
Policy-safe if you hold the licence
An operator licensed in the US, UK or an equivalent jurisdiction can be streamed on Twitch without breaching the gambling policy. For those brands Twitch is a low-risk environment, not a closed door.
Broader, less saturated audience
Casino is 1.6% of Twitch's watch time, so a casino integration reaches viewers who are not already seeing four competing operators the same evening. The trade-off is a colder audience.
The Portuguese market is here, not on Kick
Portuguese is 50.8M hours across the vertical and most of it sits in Twitch's Virtual Casino. For Brazil-facing brands, Twitch is the primary platform, not the secondary one.
Cheap always-on inventory
Channels like ziriguidum777, Nokan777 and CasinoDaddy broadcast 2,100–3,400 hours per half-year at sub-2K concurrency. Poor for a launch moment, efficient for sustained low-cost exposure.
The full policy picture
What each platform actually prohibits, what it merely discourages, and where the enforcement gaps sit — with the dates and the wording that matter for a compliance review.
